About Molding Young Moguls (MYM):
Molding Young Moguls (MYM) is a community-based prevention, intervention, and diversion program dedicated to empowering local youth. Through a combination of educational workshops, mentorship, and community engagement, MYM aims to equip young individuals with the skills and support they need to succeed.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our youth program, including recruitment, relationship building, workshop facilitation, and community outreach. This individual will play a crucial role in promoting our program, engaging with stakeholders, and driving positive outcomes for the youth we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Open and close the youth center during operational hours
• Recruit student members for the program through outreach efforts
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, schools, law enforcement, and local community agencies
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly youth workshops based on provided curriculum
• Prepare monthly reports on program activities and outcomes
• Promote the program by participating in local community outreach events
• Utilize program social media channels for recruitment and community awareness
• Attend monthly staff, funding, and community meetings
• Assist in planning, promoting, and managing community events
• Take initiative and be forward-thinking in generating new ideas to enhance program effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, or equivalent experience
• Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in the community
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and social media platforms
• Experience in program coordination or related field preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and youth development principles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
